After growing up in New York and Florida, Paul Reubens moved to Los Angeles to get his start in show business. An early member of the influential comedy troupe The Groundlings, Reubens is best known for his character Pee-Wee Herman who starred in 3 movies: Pee-Wee's Big Adventure, Big Top Pee-Wee, and Pee-Wee's Big Holiday. Pee-Wee also appeared in several other movies and TV shows, not to mention having a popular series of his own with Pee-Wee's Playhouse.
Over the years, Paul Reubens continued to act in several notable films (Blow, Mystery Men, The Nightmare Before Christmas) and TV shows (30 Rock, The Blacklist, Gotham). He will be sorely missed.
