Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and William Thrasher talk about Spider-Man 3 from 2007, the final film in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man Trilogy. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) has turned into a fame loving asshole. His smugness only increases in power when he's taken over by an alien symbiote which amplifies his worst qualities. Zaniness ensues, and Sandman (Thomas Haden Church), Venom (Topher Grace), and New Goblin (James Franco) are hot on Spidey's trail. A big secret is revealed, and Peter learns about the power of forgiveness.
Thrasher was let down by My Scientlogy Movie, a documentary that's more about the documentarian than the titular subject. Mat enjoys the Season 6 finale of Will & Grace which features guest star appearances by British actors John Cleese and Tim Curry playing brothers (!!!).
