Host Mat Bradley-Tschirgi interviews director Jeff Celentano on his new film The Hill now playing in theaters. Mat also interviews Rickey Hill, the real-life subject on whom the film is based on. Born with a degenerative spinal disease, Rickey started his dream of playing baseball by hitting rocks with sticks. Eventually, he got in the MLB.
They discuss how Rickey developed his batting style, the long journey of the film to the silver screen, and the importance of spending the time on cutting a really good trailer.
