On this episode I wanted to talk about the current state of affairs, let’s call it Breathing While Black!
I can’t breathe once again the the words heard around the world as we watch the lynching of another black man as he takes his last breath. How are we expected to continue reacting as if everything is ok when we are treated differently because the color of our skin! My life matters too!
It’s time people! White supremacy called out for a leader and we got Trump now it’s time for us to gather together and mobilize its time for our leaders to rise up and for us to become a collective unit despite our economic status or religion Or sexuality it’s time for us to become united as one with one common goal! It’s time we are truly treated like human beings that we are all treated equal in the land that we built with our ancestors blood sweat and tears, land and we built on our backs! it’s time that we stop gathering just for music festivals and concerts and when we watching on black man take their last breath on video it’s time for us to begin gathering and strategizing and making a plan it’s time for us to meet in public and private! it’s time for us to start voting voting out the Leaders that say things like if you are talking you are breathing it’s time for us to vote for sheriff’s is time for us to vote for city council, mayors and governors it’s time for us to vote in people that represent us that look like us that represent our desires and demands. The time is now the revolution will not be televised progress is a process and it starts now channel your anger to make a difference that unifies us let’s come together let’s unite let’s take back our land.
