Establishing and holding boundaries is a key barrier and accelerator of performance if we are willing to look at our human tendencies to seek approval, please others and particularly in the case of women, put ourselves last. To deliver great results in business, we need to be clear on the strategy and focus so we can say an informed "hell-yeah". That yes is nothing without the 'no' that accompanies it. We dilute the results immediately by falling into the responsiveness trap, meeting ineffectiveness, treating all priorities and relationships the same. Also applies to products, services and customers. Lean into discomfort and learn to say a no or partial not just for your own satisfaction but to deliver great results.
