In this episode, we meet Mikaila Boyd, a fair trade activist from Ottawa, Canada. Mikaila talks about what it was like interning in Rwanda, and how eye opening her experience was. Learning about other cities and what other countries can do to help each other in hopes to create a form of dialogue.
We learned that in the workplace Mikaila wants to create a dialogue to prevent the point of talking about someone's hair as "different", making others feel like their differences are the only thing that can be talked about.
