This is part 3 of the series “Being in the Zone”. In this episode, Monette goes a bit deeper. She talks about how if we can train our brains over and over again and when the time comes we will naturally know what to do and perform in the zone. It’s all about allowing what you trained yourself to do and letting it play out without worry and fear. Monette encourages you to pursue this idea, each one of us can learn the skill of harnessing the power of our brain, living in the present moment, learning to focus our attention on the task at hand, and learning to trust ourselves without judgment. If we have done the work and the practice, we must believe in our capabilities with certainty and allow ourselves to perform at our highest level. Monette feels that anyone can experience “being in the zone” it just takes practice.
