Hassam Munir is the founder of iHistory, a public history project, and was recognized as an Emerging Historian at the 2017 Heritage Toronto Awards. With a background in journalism and public relations, he is passionate about researching and teaching Islamic history. Hassam also actively contributes to community-building through his expertise in communications/PR and social media, and currently works at Yaqeen Institute for Islamic Research.
