Anna North’s Outlawed features 17 year old Ada who was destined to follow her mother’s footsteps as a midwife for her small town. Yet when a year goes by after her marriage and she has yet to bear a child, the town’s superstition gets the better of them and they start to view Ada as a witch. Ada forsakes her salvation at a convent in search for a cure for her infertility and soon finds herself falling in with the Hole In The Wall Gang. Led by the most infamous gun-slinger in the west, The Kid, Ada starts to fight for a place safe for all the outcasts like herself.
