Michelle Zweifler, MD, is a board certified plastic surgeon with a private practice on 5th Avenue in New York City. Dr. Zweifler is on the staff of the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, & Throat Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital.
Dr. Zweifler received her Bachelor of Science in Statistics at Cornell University and her Medical Degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Health Science Center at Brooklyn-Downstate Medical School. Upon graduation she achieved the Samuel Kountz Award in Clinical Excellence in Surgery, ranking #1 in her class in Surgery. Dr. Zweifler completed residency in general surgery at Lenox Hill Hospital, winning the John O. Vieta Award for Professional Excellence and Compassionate Care, among all residents and fellows. She trained in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at SUNY Downstate, and then she completed an Aesthetic Surgery fellowship in San Francisco, at California Pacific Medical Center Davies Campus, under the renowned Dr John Q. Owsley. She also won the Downstate Alumni Achievement Award in Cosmetic Surgery in 2018.
She has been featured in print media as well as on national television. She was on Anderson Cooper Live for correction of deformities from medical tourism. Her cutting edge cosmetic techniques include body lifting surgery after massive weight loss, facial rejuvenation, and breast surgery. Dr Zweifler even has videos on “Elbow Lifts”.
When not involved with medicine, you’ll find Dr. Zweifler exercising, attending charitable functions, traveling and spending quality time with her niece, family and friends.
