When we shifted our podcast focus to mental health, we were invigorated with this new sense of purpose. We have always shared our own personal experiences with trauma, mental health, personal struggles and growth, all while weaving our unique sense humour through each episode. We want to bring back that focus again, talking about topics that are important to us and society, and how they affect what we do or don't do. In this episode, we discuss how social media has become a platform for Mental Health Theatre. Everyone seems to have the perfect quote or life mantra that we should follow. How many of those people are actually practicing what they preach? Is it important to walk the walk? It's certainly important to put the work in. And that's where many of us fall short.
