Church… what is it?
A building? A group of people? A movement, or all of the above?
We all have a very different experience of church – some have had wonderful experiences, and sadly, many have had painful experiences. But one thing is the same, we somehow have a deep inner sense of what church SHOULD be.
Christ’s church is meant to be a place where people can come learn, grow, heal and belong. So… as you look at the Christian church in America, is there anything you would change? What would you keep the same? What can we do to reach more people – especially the younger generation?
You are invited to join us as we take a hard look at Church…our church, and seek to discover what God’s best is for us and you.
We will embark on a journey that is sure to challenge every person to rethink why we do what we do.
We hope you will enjoy digging deeper in the messages through this study guide as well as take advantage of the Bible studies, life groups and book “Letters to the Church” by Francis Chan, from whom this series was catalyst.
Beginning the weekend of April 27 & 28, we will discuss topics such as:
-Church - Unholy
-Church - Entitled
-Church - Selfish
-Church – Ineffective
-Church – Do Over
Ending with an “Ask It” message where you will have a chance to ask any biblical questions you may have including questions about the series itself.
