In the 1990’s to early 2000’s, a popular brand of t-shirt and energy drink exemplified an attitude among athletes and extreme sports arenas– NO FEAR! The idea was to look fear in the face and conquer it!
The concept is good, but certainly not original to humanity. We are living in times where fear is real, normal, capitalized, and promoted. We’ve lived through 9/11, earthquakes and Covid. Now we face an uncertain future and for our younger generations, they are losing hope. How do we conquer fear in 2023?
Understanding fear and how to respond to it is something we can find in the Bible... God gives us His word as an anchor to our very souls. It holds the key to overcoming fear of the future, death, financial, and spiritual worries.
