Like Jesus Part 3: Forgive Like Jesus

In the early summer of this year, we had a series called “Ask It”. It was a series based off input and responses from the church and general public to the question, “what are the issues today the church should address?”
We received overwhelming responses – some good, but many very negative. It was a great learning experience, and it was a reality check for many of us to hear how many people view Christians and Christianity. If you missed the series, you can watch it on our You Tube Channel.
Interestingly, a popular comment was “why can’t Christians be more like Jesus?” and so this series came to life!
Many people believe it is impossible to be like Jesus since He is perfect and sinless. True, we will never be perfect, or completely sinless, but if we follow His way of life, how He loved others, how He lived, the way He served and ministered to people, obeyed His Father, and forgave people, we CAN be ...Like Jesus! And maybe... just maybe, we can change the opinion of those who see Christianity as a hypocritical and judgmental religion.
We invite you to follow us as we strive to be “...like Jesus”. The series begins October 14 & 15 and will run for 5 weeks. Service Times are Saturday Evening at 5:30pm and Sunday Morning at 10:30 am. We also offer two Adult Sunday School options at 9:00am.
Promiseland Kids Church is available at 5:30pm on Saturday evening for children up to 5th grade and Sunday at 10:30am for Toddler – 5th grade and Youth Sunday School for Jr. High and older.
