When it comes to investing in Microcap companies, to some investors, illiquidity can sometimes be a major problem.
Why?
Because when you invest in an illiquid microcap stock, there is a possibility of you not being to sell it because of the low volume or even worse, you might end up selling at a lower price because no one is willing to buy at a higher price.
This is the same concern as to why larger institutions avoid investing in microcap companies, because of its illiquidity.
