With a standing capacity of 7,500, the Motorpoint Arena in Cardiff is the largest events venue in the area. The Deputy Manager, Daniel Roberts, joins us on Sheer Isolation this week. He also works for Live Nation - one of the UK's largest music promoters.
He talks about his 18 years working at the venue, gives an insight into the logistics of keeping musicians, comedians, their managers and promoters happy, and what he's been up to personally over the past six months while the Arena has remained closed.
We also pay tribute to Stroud based musician and broadcaster, Marion Miller, who sadly passed away last week. Marion was behind the annual Quarry Gig and was a regular voice on the now silent Stroud FM.
Music this week is a mix of fiddle-heavy folk rock from Gloucester's Folklaw, and Daniel chooses some Welsh hip-hop courtesy of Goldie Lookin Chain.
The show is created by Kieran Moore in Trowbridge and Jon Ponting near Cricklade.
Thank you for your continued positive feedback on this series.
