In this episode, we discuss the definition of finding the healthy tension in life. Andy wears many hats from being a Follow of Christ, Husband, Dad, Friend, Pastor, Connector, and a Soccer Fan. A key value we must know is that we will know our purpose in life, once we find our identity. We also discuss about building discipline and routine in life. This will look different for all people. Find what works best for you! In order to have a routine, we must first see the value in discipline. More responsibilities require more discipline. Stress is common for all people. We get stressed and overwhelmed. Here is a fresh perspective of stress. We have a capacity problem, not a stress problem. Here are some practices we can apply; decrease the load, delegate the task, and turn it over to God or something bigger than you. Chapter 5 in the Book of Romans was referred, “affliction produces endurances, endurance produces character, character produces hope.” We must check our mental attitude when going through difficult times. Start with the end picture. The most important thing in life is to realize who you are, how much loved you are, how unique you are, and how special you are, then everything will flow from that.
