Jackson is the first Black Gay man to win the Pulitzer Prize for Drama for his musical A Strange Loop, which premiered at Playwrights Horizons last summer, and its cast recording is available on Spotify and Apple Music. The show won 5 Drama Desk Awards, Michael winning two for Outstanding Book and Lyrics. It is also nominated for 7 of Broadway Black’s Antonyo Awards.
