Where do we get our culture? Does it come from the clouds on a winged chariot? Does it grow out of the ground so we can harvest it? There are thousands of factors that shape us and give us our demeanors, our accents, our beliefs, our morals. The very first people to start teaching us are our parents, or grandparents, or adopted guardians. They instill within us our faith if they have their own, or they let us go off and find it ourselves. Either way, our religion or philosophies make up a big part of our culture. If there's something almost all humans want, it's something to believe in. This episode is about Paganism and its roots with stories leading all the way up to what a modern neopagan actually is. I get a really great interview with Jamie Becker about his experiences growing up in a Pagan household.
