My guest for this episode is Estela Aragon.
Estela is an innovator. While obtaining her Master’s Degree in Performance, Estela became obsessed with devising new techniques to teach music. As a result, her unique teaching methods earned her first prize at the 2014 Savvy Arts Venture Competition. Estela is the founder of the Trumpet Headquarters and The Music Fit Academy. She’s a performer, educator, and successful entrepreneur. And she’s just getting warmed up.
Check out what Estela has to say about finding a new path, the fear of failure, structuring a progressive curriculum, expanding the course, dealing with gender bias, overcoming obstacles, filling the pedagogical void, a sneak peek at what's next, her ideal student, and so much more.
So pour yourself a big glass, pull up a chair, and let the hang begin!
