Today is the first in a series of 5 message on people of faith. Many people know that Jackie Robinson was one of the greatest baseball players of all time. Many people know that he broke Major League Baseball's color barrier as the first black man to play in their league. But, many people do not know that he was also a strong Christian. His faith in Christ is what enabled him to put up with abuse and rants and taunts and unjust treatment, eventually winning over a lot of people to his side. His life story is informative and inspiring, and shows us how God wants us to respond to people who treat us wrongly, too.
