The story of Lewis and Clark is an apt metaphor for our world today. They went looking for the Northwest Passage that everybody assumed existed. Everyone was sure it was out there somewhere. They discovered that everybody was wrong. All the experts and all the explorers were wrong. When they got to the Lemhi Pass, instead of seeing the Columbia River that would take them to the Pacific Ocean, they saw miles and miles of Rocky Mountains. They stepped off the map and into uncharted territory. We are doing the same thing today. What difference does faith in Jesus Christ make when you are going off the map? What is God wanting to teach us as we move into uncharted territory? This week's message talks about what is going on in our world and what God might be doing in your life.
