Today's message marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Lent is the 40 days plus Sundays leading up to Easter. Historically, it has been a time for people to focus on what is not right in their lives, and what they need to stop doing and turn away from, in order to appreciate and celebrate Easter Sunday. Easter doesn't make any sense if we don't believe in sin. But, it seems as if many people in our culture today don't believe in sin. How do we understand sin in a healthy way that will lead us to understand the huge importance of Easter?
