One month into the new year, it’s likely that not everything has gone to plan and that we’ve already encountered some hard things. Our trust is not in circumstances, nor our hope in predictability. When life yields uncertainty we’re resolved, as St. Padre Pio encourages to, “Pray, hope, and don’t worry.” Deuteronomy 23:5 “The Lord your God loves you.”
