We were at Linksoul Lab on Coast Hwy at the "Stories From the Streets" Expo. This homeless/mental health outreach event was brought to you by Humanity Showers and Lived Experiences, both are non-profit organizations brought to you by Jordan Verdin, and Oscarin Ortega, respectively. En Mi Palma is also a Non-profit organization by Jasmin Venegas that makes artisan jewelry with the proceeds going towards helping the homeless. We talked with Oscarin, Jordan, Jasmin, and Brett Strong, who was the first person to use the mobile showers and also gave Humanity Showers its name. Brett Strong has been off the streets from more than a year now. The expo is on until April 20th. Make sure to check it out if you have the time!!
