Without a doubt, there are men who love and support black women. But their voices are often silent or nothing more than a whisper against the louder noises out here that disgrace us—and do damnable violence to our emotional psychic.
In the European Christian Bible, Matthew 5:24 urges us to FIRST make amends with those we have caused harm to, and then we can offer our gifts of gratitude and thankfulness.
So this episode of SVNC features a black male spoken word artist that goes by the name of D-Frenchieee… And he’s doing some self-reflection on how he has related to Black women. Through his poetry, he’s making amends, finding strength in his vulnerability, and giving his SELF permission to heal the “OUCH” within his feeling state.
