In the 1960's many African countries gained their independence and with that came the adoptation of western system of Government namely Democracy. We entered into a system of Government that we did not fully understand the source and concepts that birthed this idea. Our Leaders transposed certain concepts into the Universe of Africa without doing a deep study to analyse if those concepts are favourabe to Africans.
