The Eagles played the Dallas Cowboys on America's Game of the Week. Needless to say, it didn't disappoint. After much anxiety, rising BP, heart palpitations, and other health issues, the Eagles pulled off a 28-23 victory. Even with Dallas moving the ball in the 4th quarter and having two possessions in positive territory (including the final possession in the Redzone), the Eagles Defense made plays where they needed it most, sacking Dak twice on the final drive.
Eagles didn't escape the game without paying the price. Jalen is banged up, Goedert broke his forearm, and Nakobe Dean is out with a foot injury. The bye couldn't have come at a better time.
Rest up fellas. Well deserved. We will see you on MNF vs. the Chiefs.
