Description

I read a poem on Facebook on August 9, 2017. I love it and wrote a song using the words. Then I decided to find out from the friend who posted it where she got it since she hadn't given an author's name. Did she write it? Did some famous poet pen the words? The answer she gave blew me away. The words were from Johnny Hart's B.C. comic strip. Wiley, that prehistoric philosopher, spoke them in a strip published on Sunday, September 29, 2002. Fifteen years later, posted on Facebook anonymously, they inspired praise to God.

He Is There

When no one seems to love you and trouble’s everywhere;

When skies turn dark above you and joy turns to despair;

When everything just falls apart and no one seems to care;

Just look down deep inside your heart and know your God is there…He is there!

He is there and he loves you when trouble’s everywhere.

He is there and he loves you in darkness and despair.

He is there and he loves you when no one seems to care.

Just look down deep inside your heart and know your God is there.
