Monica Lozano wears many notable hats. To start, she is the CEO of College Futures Foundation – an organization creating a clear and open pathway to a college degree for the diverse students of California. Prior to joining College Futures Foundation, Monica spent 30 years as editor and publisher of La Opinión, the U.S.’s largest Spanish-language newspaper. Today, she is on the board of several notable American companies, including Target, Bank of America and, most recently, Apple. On Money Stories, we begin with Monica’s stories of family and entrepreneurship, go deep into the intersection of financial literacy and education, and end with Monica’s vision for progress.
