Jerry received his BA from Hamline University, St. Paul (1964). He received his Master of Divinity from Bethel Seminary, (74). He taught 6th grade and served as pastor in the Presbyterian Church USA. He was born and raised in Minnesota. He came from an outdoor family: hunting, fishing, vacationing at the lake, camping, and boundary water trips. This led to an appreciation of nature and to the hobby of bird watching. Out of his concern for the degradation of nature in the United States and globally, especially focusing on climate change, he has developed and manages a web site cleanairplan.com. The mission of
the website and blog is to “Inspire, empower, and inform interested people how their choices and actions can reduce air pollution, improve human health and respond to climate change.” Air pollution and resulting climate change is threatening the earth and must be urgently addressed. Everyone can and must
do their part to reverse earth’s destruction before it’s too late. Our daily choices matter, together we can succeed.
