Tami tells Corey about how she got involved in NorthChurch Guthrie, how she met and fell in love with her husband Ray, and what it is like to have and raise a child late in life. She discusses the differences between raising children before the social media age and now in the midst of the social media age. She opens up about a childhood accident that impacted her daughter as well as her daughter’s struggle with breast cancer and watching her sustaining faith through these difficulties. She communicates some of the barriers church denominations created in her journey of ultimately discovering Christ as well as how tithing has helped transform her family’s life.
