Here's an essay I wrote waaaay back in 2016, right after the blow to our collective reality represented by the election of a reality star as President of the United States.
It basically deals with how making stuff up that incites fear and loathing and then repeating it over and again was going to be used (and ended up being used!) to manipulate people into becoming a base for evil actions.
