Joe is passionate about equipping, encouraging and empowering life-long Gospel-advancing leaders and families as they fall in love with and follow Jesus Christ. He loves mentoring and discipling students while inspiring them to discover their gifts and ability to influence others for the Gospel. He serves as Student Pastor at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, TX. He is a husband, father, pastor and workout-enthusiast!

Kayla Self:
Girl’s Minister, Kingsland Baptist Church
Kayla joined the Kingsland Student Ministry Staff in August of 2015. She attended Texas A&M University where she received a degree in Health in May of 2015 and is finishing her MATS from Houston Baptist University in December. Kayla is passionate about pouring into and discipling students as they pursue Jesus and relationship with a Father who loves them unconditionally. She loves family, friends, coffee, reading, playing all sports, and spending time with those closest to her.
