Welcome to the readings and sermon for our 3rd Sunday of our Stewardship month with a focus on our offerings. Thinking about how we honour God, challenging the risk of being apathetic. We look at Cain and Abel and the woman with her last pennies and consider that it is not the quantity but how we offer ourselves, our finances, our talents. Is it something we do as a response or act of duty?
In the process we also consider how sin can infiltrate our actions and motivations. Definitely hitting the hard stuff but we were constantly reminded through hymn and reflection that we are loved by God.
