MICC Financial is a platform that helps people pool money together to achieve their financial goals.
Founded in January 2020, the collaborative savings tool was inspired by the challenges of the founders —Jonah Chininga, Daniel Ohaegbu, James Muhato, and Sergio Fernandez— faced when they arrived in Canada to study. They saw firsthand challenges such as access to capital, no credit history, low savings, and income volatility the New immigrants face and created the app as a solution.
