The UNNI Podcast host, Bianca McCall is joined by suicide loss survivor, Susie Reece. Susie is biracial; half Korean, and half Caucasian -- And goes by the blogger handle; Southern Fried Asian, on a platform where she uses humor and other safe ways of sharing her story with others, to empower survivorship in communities. Susie shares her lived experiences with suicide -- From losing her father at the age of 10 years, being adopted by her Caucasian grandparents, and moved to the state of Arkansas; to becoming a champion in the space of suicide prevention; for youth, first responders, and local law enforcement.
