Tami Fischer Wilson joins The UNNI Podcast, from a town under fire literally; in Rohnert Park, CA. Tami is the Director of a Short Term Crisis Mental Health Facility, at National Psychiatric Care & Rehab Services. She is passionate about helping others, and giving back to a community which helped her maintain over 12 years in recovery herself. Tami shares the urgency of eliminating stigma which surrounds mental health, addiction, and suicide. And the messaging she subscribes to is, "It's okay to not be okay". Tami also shares with the world for the first time, she too has to manage anxiety and depression; and that is what makes her so relatable AND successful, leading others out of the darkness.
