As disciples of Jesus, our greatest pursuit is to follow Him closely, valuing His kingdom above all else. Jesus calls us to actively seek Him, setting aside distractions and focusing on what matters most. In Matthew 13:45-46, Jesus compares the kingdom of heaven to a pearl of great value, illustrating that pursuing Him is worth giving up everything else. Today’s practice invites you to assess your pursuits and prioritize those that draw you closer to Christ. Let’s commit to intentionally pursuing Jesus and His purpose for our lives, as 1 Timothy 6:11 encourages us to pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, steadfastness, and gentleness.
