Description

Many people seem to suffer from eisoptrophobia—the fear of seeing one’s own reflection. When this happen, they fail to see what’s right in front of them because they don’t like what’s staring back at them. And so, to avoid the discomfort, they simply avert their eyes from the clutter of their lives. The psychiatrist Dr. Daniel Siegel, however, suggests that to make positive change in our lives, we have to "name it to tame it."

This episode shares the story of how one man tamed the streets of West Sussex and how you can use this same process to perhaps one day have a garbage truck named after you. Enjoy!
