Join us on October 5th when we welcome Visiting Professor David Blair. David is a Pittsburgh native and author of four books of poetry, Ascension Days, which was chosen by Thomas Lux for the Del Sol Poetry Prize, Arsonville, and Friends with Dogs. His fourth book of poetry, Barbarian Seasons, and his first collection of essays Walk Around: Essays about Poetry and Place are out now from MadHat Press.
We have it all in this episode. In the first installment, we learn our Word of the Day from Professor Molly McGill and learn about Pittsburg's greatest export in Four Questions. We talk to David about his writing, books, and his craft during the interview. Next, we learn about cyborgs from Professor Nate Greene. We learn why Daddy's always happy from Coach Steve Corning and see Professor Marie Stewart Harmon use her body and her props to try to help us guess a movie title. We end the episode with a recipe from Marie and the movies of Technically Correct.
It's a face-hurting episode that you don't want to miss.
