Our visiting professor today is Allen Adams. Allen is the editor and lead culture critic for The Maine Edge, an arts/entertainment weekly based in Bangor. He reviews films, books, plays and TV shows; he also writes about sports, local business and whatever else is of interest. He’s a Tomatometer-approved film critic and member of the National Book Critics Circle as well as a featured critic on LitHub's Book Marks site. He is the co-founder of The Focus Group, an improv troupe based in Bangor, and the curator of the ImprovME Festival. Allen can also be found regularly as a featured player at Penobscot Theatre Company, the Northeasternmost professional theatre company in the United States; He’s been a professional actor for almost 25 years now.
