What are you grateful for? Bring it to mind, right now. Think about it. The positivity it brings to your life. The happiness it brings you. It might not be lavish and outlandish. But simple. Yet, for you, significant. Now imagine your life without it. Life would still be life, you would still go on living, but without, well, life would be just a little… less.
Who are you grateful for? Bring someone to mind, right now. Think about them. The impact they have had in your life. You wouldn’t be who you are today without this person. They have forever influenced the trajectory of your life. Each day you live, is different because they are a part of your world. Now imagine your life without this person. This one stings a little more. You see, as significant as things are in our lives, the different “what’s” in our lives. Life still goes on, when you take that thing away. Because lives are not built around things, and “what’s”. Lives are built around and with people. And when a main character in your story is suddenly taken out and removed from your world, your whole world gets turned upside down. Life isn’t just a little less, life doesn’t even feel like life anymore. So, think about one person you are grateful for. Send them a text and tell them. Give them a hug and tell them you love them. Don’t take them for granted. Live in the reality, each day, of how grateful you are that they are in your life.
