AQ No 1: Sir, how long does the hair transplant procedure lasts?
Please explain.
While responding to this query, Dr John Watts said that a hair transplant procedure usually lasts up to 6 hours excluding half an hour for the preparation and another half hour to explain the post-transplant precautions that need to be taken by the patient. Overall, the entire procedure time could take one to spend 7 hours in all.
AQ No 2: Sir, how many days after a hair transplant procedure I can resume my normal work? Please explain.
While responding to this query, Dr John Watts said that resumption of normal work after a hair transplant procedure depends upon the nature of work one usually engages in.
“If it is office work where you sit before a computer and work, you may resume your normal work after 1–2 days of rest after the hair transplant procedure,” explained Dr John Watts.
However, if it an outside or field work involving physical activity, Dr John Watts said that after 4–5 days of rest one can engage in such activities following necessary precautions to cover their transplanted hair.
