Find a pal who is willing to collaborate. Start a piece on your own, but leave room for the other person to add on to or transform what you’ve done. Maybe it’s a line drawing, or the beginning of a collage, or a cool background, or a fascinating found object. Start anywhere! Then, hand it off (or send it by mail to a distant friend) and let your collaborator complete it. Once it’s complete, give it to an essential worker or anyone who is out there making a difference during this pandemic and could use a little pick me up. (And help support the post office!
