Hi all!!
This week's episode completes Rd 3 of Coaching With The Bible. Congrats to all and thank you to all who have been with us each week: listening, sharing insights, posing questions, and being a source of encouragement and inspiration.
I appreciate all of you.
I do not take it as a given that you would give me your time and your attention each week when those could be spent in other places! So thank you!
It's true... I am an optimist.
I may appear to be a grouch or a curmudgeon at first, but int here is an eternal optimist...
How else could I have attempted fundraising for a living...getting turned down by potential donors and prospects on a consistent basis...
Believing in the cause is great, but it can get hard to move forward and just 'keep going,' that's where the optimist comes out:
it is covered over sometimes by what appears to be belief or confidence and while that's true, at its core, it is a mix of faith, belief, resilience, discipline, and a heavy and healthy dose of optimism that 'next time' or the 'next one' will work out and 'be the one'...
So my question for you is this:
^ Where and when are you the optimist or the pessimist?
^ What about each situation makes you one or the other?
^ Why do you think that to be true about you?
Join me as we begin to explore being an optimist.
Enjoy!
