Description

β€œTo ask is to believe that somewhere there is an answer. The fact that throughout history people have devoted their lives to extending the frontiers of knowledge is a compelling testimony to the restlessness of the human spirit and its constant desire to go further, higher, deeper. Far from faith excluding questions, questions testify to faith – that history is not random, that the universe is not impervious to our understand, that what happens to us is not blind chance. We ask, not because we doubt, but because we believe.”

Our topic of the week: On Questions

-------------------------------------

When was the last time a question that someone asked you stopped you in your tracks? Left you speechless? Without an answer?

Now, the opposite.

When was the last time you asked a jaw-dropping question of someone else? Not to embarrass or make them feel bad, but more so to draw out a new perspective or a different answer.

In coaching, I get to ask a lot of people a lot of questions and then have great conversations about goals, success, failure, process, blockages, mindset, and more.

It's one of the more interesting and gratifying parts of the work.

But how about you? What questions do you ask? What questions are you asked?

The questions move us forward and give us the opportunity to challenge, to rethink, to unlock and to grow all at the same time.

This week, we talk a bit about the questions and forget about the answers for a while.

Happy Learning!
