Society has come a long way since circus “freak shows” put little people on display. But little people still face a high level of stigma in society and most times a lack of reference to who they are and what they can or cannot do.

However little people are more than just their height or disabilities, just like other human beings they are filled with passion and enthusiasm to go above and beyond to achieve their dreams and Selene Luna is testament to this.

Selene is an established actress in Hollywood with multiple roles in movies and TV shows like Soledad on FX's Mayans M.C. and the voice of Tía Rosita in Disney-Pixar’s Academy Award and Golden Globe Awards' Winner Coco.

While acting is a strong passion of hers, so is advocating for disability rights which has taken her to the lengths of Washington, D.C. to meet with legislators like U.S. Rep. Maxine Waters, at the 2019 Conference on Independent Living  and spoke at a rally on Capitol Hill alongside U.S. Sen. Chuck Schumer.
