Listen

Description

In this episode, romance author, Charmyra E. Fleming talks about the importance of representation in storytelling, specifically, positive representation of African-Americans in stories.  She uses that thinking as a segway to briefly dicusses how she's intentional about telling stories with African-American characters represented in a positive manner. Next, she deep dives into the five chapter of The Violet Rose, as she reads an excerpt and shares her thoughts on the chapter. Finally, as always, she shares "M.A.I." Quote of the Day and "M.A.I." Sip of the Week!
