Monday, January 15th the 39th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. ceremony will take place at Calvary Church. The event begins at 6 pm and will feature two great speakers, Dr. Dorothy Tillman & actor Tyler Lepley. Both are accomplished and will be contributing to the theme: What Happens To A Dream Determined? - This Saturday from noon to 3 pm Ward 1 Alderman Emmanuel Llamas will host the Pigeon Hill New Years party at St. Joseph’s church (722 High Street) in Aurora. There will be food, prizes, games and much fun! This event is open to all residents of ward 1. See you there!
- A very important survey is live for all Aurora residents to provide feedback about affordable housing in Aurora. Our city aims to expand opportunities for housing options and your feedback and opinions are greatly needed! The survey is open until February 23rd and is available in both english and spanish. We encourage you to provide your feedback, this is an important element for the growth of our city and all Aurora households.
